Here is my 4 banger Screw Pine Tree ( Pandanas utilis ). There are 4 plants in there. As you can see I have placed a water bottle next to it so you can see the size in relation. This plant is doing very well. I really can't wait to see this one grow up.

How well did your screw pines survive the outbreak of 30-degree nights this February? I live about 15-20 miles south of you on the St. Lucie/Martin county line in Port St. Lucie. I managed to grow two 24-inch screw pines from seeds planted in January 2007; however, one was completely killed and the other severely burned by the cold February nights. I also lost all my sea grapes, also started from seeds in 2007. Bummer of a winter here in PSL.
