It had a bunch of buds on it. The little care card said to put it in indirect sunlight so I placed her on my kitchen counter. 2 of the blooms opened but fell off soon after. None of the other buds opened and they fell off too. I figured that the plant wasn't getting enough light (The only windows I have are west facing sliding glass doors so my house is pretty dark)so I moved it out to the front porch (it's covered). It seems to like it better out there because it has bloomed a flower that has been there for weeks and weeks and weeks! I call it my perpetual orchid. If you go to my blog you will see it. The photo was taken in the evening, without flash and with a flashlight shinning behind it, that's why it has that warm coloring to it but in real life, it's as white as yours, it's exaclty the same. Don't you think that funny little spotted part in the center looks like a leopard head?
I'm very impressed with your progress in gardening. I'd say you've gone from beginner to pro super fast! I'm still trailing behind...

Cheers!

~Angie~Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17219027826284514702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2059740812156620936.post-73634355953096150012008-07-23T14:17:00.000-04:002008-07-23T14:17:00.000-04:00Hey - I have about 15 Phalopnosis orchids and they...Hey - I have about 15 Phalopnosis orchids and they are so easy to care for!
