A Yard In Fort Pierce

Well, I have a tree fight going on in my backyard. Yes I said a tree fight. Once I started looking real close at those tree's that look like Banyan Tree's. I started to notice that inside the middle of almost all of them there was a Cabbage Palm Tree. If you start looking you will see what I am talking about. These tree's look like Banyan Tree's, they actually are Banyan Tree's just a different species, with real deep green leaves and they get extremely big. The interesting thing about this tree( Strangler Fig ( Ficus Aurea ) is that the seeds will not germinate without passing through an animals digestive tract. Once germinated they grow rather fast. They eventually wrap their roots all the way around the host tree and strangle it. Here are a few pics of the tree fight in my backyard.
