A Yard In Fort Pierce

While I was outside relaxing yesterday my dog started going crazy at a Cabbage Palm Tree. I walked over to see what all the bark was about and to my surprise there was a baby Raccoon in the Palm Tree. I ran inside to get my camera and started taking shots of the little guy. Raccoons are very cute but don't let that fool you, they are very dangerous with their razor claws and teeth so I do not recommend trying to pet them. Generally if they let you close enough to pet them they probably have rabies so keep your distance. Here are the pictures of the little guy, enjoy!

Last week while I was walking down a path at Heathcote Botanical Gardens, I ran into an Armadillo in the bushes. The crazy part is I actually had my camera with me. I followed the Armadillo through the bushes snapping pictures of him trying to get good shots. The Armadillo was pretty sketchy and wouldn't let me get to close to him. It didn't take long for the Armadillo to get tired of me taking pictures before it ran off into the thick brush. Oh well, I ended up with some pretty good shots and here they are, enjoy!
