Last week while I was walking down a path at Heathcote Botanical Gardens, I ran into an Armadillo in the bushes. The crazy part is I actually had my camera with me. I followed the Armadillo through the bushes snapping pictures of him trying to get good shots. The Armadillo was pretty sketchy and wouldn't let me get to close to him. It didn't take long for the Armadillo to get tired of me taking pictures before it ran off into the thick brush. Oh well, I ended up with some pretty good shots and here they are, enjoy!

Those are great pics! I haven't seen an armadillo in years (20 to be exact). I grew up in Texas and they were all over the place.
They are very interesting animals aren't they.
I bet that armadillo thought you were sketchy too! Seriously, I can't believe you saw an armadillo.
How amazing! I've never seen a live armadillo, just dead ones by the side of the highway when we were touring through Texas
I am sure he did Katie, you should have seen him take off into the brush. Those little guys are pretty fast!
I am so amazed at what people see in different areas of the country. The most interesting wild animal I saw running around here was a baby possum. I've never seen a live armadillo. Fun stuff!
I've never seen armadillo even in the zoo either. Your blog is very beautiful and music is nice.
