It's about time for an update on my Dwarf Cavendish Banana Tree ( Musa acuminata). If you would like to read my original post on this Banana Tree please CLICK HERE. I purchased this Dwarf Cavendish Banana Tree last year in February from the internet. I received it as a very tiny pup. I have been growing it for over a year now and finally decided to put it in the ground. Here are some pictures of my Dwarf Cavendish Banana Tree.
These pictures were taken when I recieved the pup in the mail on 2-22-2008.

The rest of these pictures were taken just before and after I planted it in the ground on 6-21-2009.
I figured it was time since it was throwing it's own pup.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures. See you again next time!!

I have a Dwarf Japanese banana - Musa Basjoo. It was about 2ft tall in a pot when I had it last April. It survived the Winter here under straw and plastic, and it is now 7ft tall and having children of its own!
Thank you sooo much for your comments!!
So, I don't actually suppose this may have success.
