I am really excited to finally be able to show off my Lani's Beauty. Lani's Beauty is a Hybrid Plumeria also known as a Frangipani. The Plumeria is related to the Oleander and is also poisonous. The white milky sap is the poisonous part so take care when handling them.
I purchased this Lani's Beauty the first week of April 2009 at a plant sale that was held at Heathcote Botanical Gardens of Fort Pierce Florida. I scored a great deal on three different kinds of Hybrids for just twenty dollars!! I will reveal the other two when they bloom.
When I first came home with these plants they were just sticks. I put the sticks in the dirt and left them for a week with no water. Then on the second week I watered twice. The third week I began regular watering. During the third week I saw new growth. Now just over two months and already blooming!!
Here are the progression pictures of my new Hybrid Plumeria Lani's Beauty.

She is lovely!
Yes, she is. I have ordered some Adenium seeds and now I am about to order some Plumeria cuttings. I am desiring to redo my backyard into an Eden of my own ideas but of God's making. Lush with a green background and tropical plants and a waterfall as well. A calming refuge from the craziness of this world. I love your blog... Visit mine at http://bayoubostons.blogspot.com/
Very nice. How big is your Lani's Beauty now? We are the ones that sold it at the show.. thanks Just Plumerias
