Today I noticed that my Octopus Orchid ( Encyclia cochleata ) has another bloom on it. My Octopus Orchid is doing very well mounted to a piece of driftwood. I keep this Orchid in the shade most of the time but it gets a little bit of sun. I water daily to keep the moss damp. If you want to see my other pictures of my Octopus Orchid then click here. That is so interesting! I have never seen this orchid before. Does it grow in zone 8? Great pictures :)
It is an unusual but pretty orchid. I guess it must be happy where it is because it has 2 blooms now. :)
Hi! I've been here before and love the plants that you grow.There really is no end to treasures you discover in the gardening world! I totally agree with perennial gardener's comment.
