This is another beautiful tree in my front yard that is flowering. The name of this is the Yellow Tabebuia Tree. This tree is from Brazil and is closely related to the Jacaranda Tree and the Flame Vine. The Yellow Tabebuia Tree is very drought tolerant and holds it's leaves all of the winter and then drops them right before blooming. You can restrict the water intake for 6-8 weeks before Spring to make it bloom twice as much. Here are some pictures of my Yellow Tabebuia Tree ( Tabebuia aurea ). Enjoy!

It is beautiful. I wish I knew what it is. I bet someone in the blogosphere does though.~~Dee
I love these trees. I was wondering if it's a yellow version of a royal poinciana.
